Frequently Asked Questions
Halo LED Transparent Glass
-
Halo Transparent LED Glass is our next-generation display technology that embeds micro-LEDs directly within customizable glass panels—allowing you to showcase vivid, high-contrast digital content while maintaining high levels of transparency. Unlike traditional screens, the LEDs are seamlessly integrated into the glass surface itself, transforming architectural glass into a dynamic visual experience.
We offer multiple product series to suit a wide range of applications, and each panel can be fully customized to your project’s needs. Options include laminated safety glass, double-glazed insulated glass units (IGUs), fire-rated glass, tapered or curved formats, and specialty coatings for UV protection, anti-reflection, or enhanced durability.
Halo LED Glass is ideal for luxury storefronts, high-end offices, partition walls, curtain wall façades, hospitality venues, museums, and exhibition displays—offering a cutting-edge blend of design, branding, and immersive digital storytelling, all built into your architecture.
-
When not displaying content, Halo Transparent LED Glass remains highly transparent, preserving the clarity and openness of your space. Depending on the pixel pitch and density selected for your project, our Transparent LED Glass can achieve up to 99% transparency. Lower pixel densities result in greater transparency, making it ideal for applications where natural light and unobstructed views are a priority.
-

Glass Thickness: Fully Customizable based on structural needs and project specifications.
• Standard HSH Series (interior and exterior): 6TP + 1.9PVB & LED + 3TP + 1.52PVB + 6TP = 18.42 mm
• Facade HE Series (insulated): 6TP + 1.9PVB & LED + 3TP + 1.52PVB + 6TP + 12A + 8TP = 38.42 mm
Halo Smart Film and Halo Smart Glass
-
Smart Glass and Smart Film, also known as PDLC film (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal), is an advanced material that switches between clear and frosted with the touch of a button.
Smart Film is made of two PET layers coated with conductive ITO, with a liquid crystal-polymer layer in between. When powered on, our film turns transparent; when off, it becomes opaque—instantly providing privacy on demand.
Ideal for offices, homes, storefronts, and more, Halo Smart Glass technology is a modern, energy-efficient solution for dynamic spaces.
-
When your Smart Film or Smart Glass is off, the polymer crystal solution within the two PET sheets has the crystals arranged in a random manor, making your window opaque (frosted and private). Once switched on, the electrical run travelling between the two PET sheets travels through the polymer liquid crystal solution. This electrical current aligns the randomly scattered crystal molecules suspended in the polymer and attain a uniform position which in return makes the window clear (transparent).
-
Smart Glass is an electrically switchable solution where PDLC film is laminated between two glass panels. It installs just like standard glass, making it ideal for new builds or renovations where glass hasn’t been installed yet.
Smart Film, on the other hand, is a self-adhesive, electrically switchable film that can be retrofitted onto existing glass surfaces—perfect for upgrading interior partitions or exterior windows without replacing the glass.
Both offer instant privacy and modern functionality with a simple ON/OFF switch.
